 About Our Pastor

Roger R. Wade was born on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies. He was educated in Trinidad, New York, Maryland, and Oakwood College in Huntsville Alabama.
Roger R. Wade has a passion for the church's most precious resource - the youth. He has worked in Youth Ministries for the past 25 years leading out as AY leader, Pathfinder leader, Conference Youth Federation Officer, Youth Camp Assistant Director, Special Assistant to the Youth Director, and served as the first Director of the National Black Youth Resource Center, which is on the campus of Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama.
Roger R. Wade in 1998 received a call from the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. He was assigned to serve as the Associate / Youth Pastor of the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harlem, New York. Since then Pastor Wade has served the Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rochester, New York and Antioch Seventh-day Adventist Church in Williamson, New York and as the Assistant to the Youth Director for Western New York of Northeastern Conference. In July of 2003, Pastor Roger R. Wade was duly ordained to the work of the gospel ministry. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God has used him to date to baptize over 700 persons. In 2005, Pastor Wade accepted a call to serve in the Southern California Conference as pastor of the Normandie Avenue Seventh-day Adventist Church in Los Angeles, CA.
Roger R. Wade is married to the former Lorraine Lawrence of Neptune, New Jersey. In 1998, God blessed them with a gift of joy, Anthony Roger Richard Wade. |
